Metal Supermarkets Rock Hill, operated by Vinda Metals Inc., is seeking a motivated and results-driven Store Sales Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales growth, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Position Summary

The Store Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily store operations, leading and developing team members, driving sales performance, managing inventory, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working with customers, coaching employees, achieving sales goals, and creating an efficient and positive work environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service

• Drive store sales and profitability through exceptional customer service and relationship building.
• Develop and monitor sales goals, metrics, and performance objectives.
• Support company pricing, marketing, and promotional initiatives.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
• Ensure customers receive accurate product information and solutions.

Team Leadership

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop store employees.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance discussions and provide ongoing coaching and support.
• Lead by example through professionalism, customer focus, and strong work ethic.

Store Operations

• Oversee daily store activities and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operating procedures.
• Prepare basic operational and sales reports for management review.

Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organization.
• Utilize point-of-sale and inventory management systems effectively.
• Support receiving, stocking, and material handling activities as needed.

Safety & Compliance

• Promote and enforce workplace safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with all company, local, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail, store management, branch management, industrial distribution, or sales management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop employees.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing inventory and operational workflows.
• Sales-focused mindset with the ability to set goals and drive results.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience using POS systems, inventory software, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and basic reporting tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Knowledge of metals, industrial products, manufacturing, construction materials, or distribution is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; business or management education is a plus.
