Job Title: Java Developer

Experience: 6-10 Years

Role Overview

At Atos, we are looking for a skilled and innovative Java Developer with strong expertise in React.js , API Development & Integration , and exposure to AI-powered development tools and solutions . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance enterprise applications while leveraging modern AI technologies to enhance development efficiency and business outcomes.

The candidate should possess strong backend development expertise using Java technologies, hands-on experience building modern front-end applications with React, and the ability to integrate enterprise systems through secure and scalable APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using Java , Spring Boot , and React.js .
\n
• Develop robust RESTful APIs , Microservices, and system integrations.
\n
• Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and product teams to deliver innovative solutions.
\n
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js and modern front-end frameworks.
\n
• Integrate AI services and intelligent automation features into enterprise applications.
\n
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot , Microsoft Copilot , and Generative AI platforms to improve productivity and code quality.
\n
• Ensure application security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
\n
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
\n
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
\n
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development and production environments.
\n

Required Technical Skills

Backend Development

\n
• Strong experience in Java 8/11/17+
\n
• Expertise in Spring Boot , Spring MVC, Spring Security
\n
• Microservices architecture and distributed systems
\n
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
\n

Frontend Development

\n
• Strong experience with React.js
\n
• JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
\n
• HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Material UI
\n
• State management libraries (Redux, Context API)
\n

API & Integration

\n
• Strong hands-on experience developing and consuming REST APIs
\n
• API Security (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect)
\n
• Experience with API gateways and integration frameworks
\n
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, and third-party integrations
\n

Database & Cloud

\n
• SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
\n
• Azure, AWS, or GCP exposure
\n
• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge preferred
\n

AI & Emerging Technology Exposure

\n
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot , GitHub Copilot , ChatGPT, or similar AI-assisted development platforms.
\n
• Understanding of Generative AI , Prompt Engineering, and AI-based automation.
\n
• Exposure to integrating AI services such as Azure OpenAI , Azure AI Services, or other AI APIs.
\n
• Interest in leveraging AI tools to accelerate software development, testing, and documentation activities.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
\n
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
\n
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architectures.
\n
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
\n

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
