Job Description

A Cleaner World, a leading provider of dry cleaning and laundry services, is seeking an experienced Dry Cleaning or Shirt Presser to help deliver carefully finished garments to our customers. In this role, you will operate and maintain pressing equipment, inspect garments, and use steam, heat, and pressure to achieve high-quality results. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekends off.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain shirt presses, pants presses, and other garment pressing equipment.
• Inspect garments before pressing to confirm they are clean and identify any stains or damage.
• Use steam, heat, and pressure to press and shape garments according to customer requests and specific instructions.
• Check finished garments to ensure they meet A Cleaner World’s quality standards.
• Handle garments carefully to prevent damage and unwanted wrinkles.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, and follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications

• Experience in dry cleaning or shirt pressing and familiarity with garment pressing equipment.
• Ability to read customer requests and follow specific instructions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours within a Monday–Friday schedule.

Compensation

Starting pay of $15 per hour .
