Job Description

Location - Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Salary - $75k-$85k

Benefits - Medical/Dental/Vision covered by employer, no bonus
An up-and-coming restaurant group in the West Palm Beach area is seeking a Chef de Cuisine (CDC) with strong experience in Indian cuisine to lead their culinary operations. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing restaurant group and play a key role in the continued development and execution of this concept.
Requirements

5+ years of progressive culinary experience, with strong kitchen leadership experience in an Indian restaurant.

Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, regional cooking techniques, spices, tandoor cooking, and traditional flavor profiles.

Experience leading a culinary team in an upscale, high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.

Strong understanding of food quality, presentation, consistency, and kitchen sanitation.

Ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse culinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and operational skills, including prep, inventory, ordering, food cost, and kitchen management.

Proven ability to maintain culinary standards while executing consistently in a high-volume service environment.

What You'll Do

Lead the day-to-day culinary operations.

Oversee kitchen preparation and service, ensuring consistency, quality, and proper execution of the menu.

Lead, train, and develop the culinary team while maintaining a positive and professional kitchen culture.

Oversee mise en place, station readiness, food preparation, and execution of recipes and specifications.

Maintain high standards for Indian culinary techniques, flavor, presentation, and product quality.

Manage inventory, ordering, food cost, waste, and proper product storage.

Work closely with the restaurant leadership team to maintain smooth service and strong overall operations.

Help develop and refine menu items while maintaining the culinary identity and standards of the Ela concept.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment.
